1. CONTEST DURATION

The “POSTURE CARE MATTRESS” contest is organized and held by Électroménagers Longueuil L’entrepôt (the “Organizer”) and takes place in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu from October 29, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. (ET) to November 29, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (ET) (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Duration”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the contest, participants must:

Be residents of the province of Quebec;
Be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Excluded from participation are:

Employees of Électroménagers Longueuil L’entrepôt and anyone with whom these employees reside;
Employees of any subsidiaries of Électroménagers Longueuil L’entrepôt and anyone with whom these employees reside;
Affiliated agents, agencies, and their employees.
Électroménagers Longueuil L’entrepôt reserves the right to disqualify any individual or cancel an entry that does not comply with these rules.

4. PRIZE DESCRIPTION

5. DRAWING

A random draw will be conducted from all eligible entries received to determine the winner.

The draw will take place on November 29, 2024, in the presence of a witness from Électroménagers Longueuil L’entrepôt at 126 Jacques-Cartier St. N., Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC, J4G 2H9.

The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received during the Contest Duration. A participant can only be declared a winner once.

Failure to comply with any of the above conditions or to accept the prize will result in disqualification, and a new random draw will be conducted in accordance with these rules until an eligible participant is selected and declared the winner.

If no participant is declared a winner within sixty (60) days of the original draw, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the prize.

6. Verification

Entries are subject to verification by the contest Organizer. Any entry or attempted entry that is, in the Organizer’s opinion, fraudulent, illegible, incomplete, late, or otherwise non-compliant with the Rules will be rejected and will not qualify for a prize.

The decision of the contest Organizer regarding any aspect of this contest, including, but not limited to, the eligibility or disqualification of entries, is final and binding, subject to a decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec with respect to any matter within its jurisdiction.

7. Disqualification

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any individual or cancel one or more of a person’s entries if they register or attempt to register using means contrary to these rules or unfairly toward other participants.

This individual may be referred to the appropriate judicial authorities if necessary. The decision of the contest organizers on this matter is final and binding.

8. Acceptance of Prize

The prize must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be transferred, in whole or in part, to another person unless otherwise specified.

9. Limitation of Liability – Use of Prize

The winner releases the contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents, and representatives from any damage, injury, or loss they may suffer from accepting or using their prize. Once informed of the prize claim details, each selected participant acknowledges that the prize-related obligations become the sole responsibility of the respective product and service providers.

10. Limitation of Liability – Operation

The contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any computer component malfunction, software or communication line issues, network loss or lack of communication, or failed, incomplete, incomprehensible, or deleted transmissions by any computer or network that could limit or prevent participation in the contest.

11. Limitation of Liability – Entries

The contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any damage or loss caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by downloading any internet page or software or by transmitting any information for contest participation.

12. Contest Modification

The contest Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this contest in whole or in part if an event or human intervention compromises or affects the contest’s administration, security, fairness, or conduct as outlined in these rules, subject to the authorization of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec if required.

In all cases, the contest Organizer, its subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, product or service providers related to this contest, and its employees, agents, and representatives are not obligated to award more prizes than stipulated or to award any prize otherwise than in accordance with these rules.

13. Authorization

The winner authorizes the contest Organizer and its representatives to use, if required, their name, photograph, image, voice, contact information, place of residence, or statement regarding the prize for advertising purposes without any form of compensation.

14. Participant

For the purposes of these rules, the eligible participant is considered to be the person identified on the entry form, and the prize will be awarded to them if they are selected and declared the winner.

15. Prize Limit

In all cases, the Organizer will not be required to award more prizes or award a prize otherwise than in accordance with these rules.

20. Limitation of Liability — Participation

Any person participating or attempting to participate in this contest releases the contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, its subsidiaries, employees, agents, and representatives from any damage they may suffer due to participation or attempted participation in this contest.

22. Dispute

Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of this promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie solely for intervention to help settle the matter.
